• Engine Application: Built for the Chevrolet Small Block (SBC) family, with the product specifically targeting 327 and 350 ci engines. Will also fit other SBC displacements sharing the regular perimeter bolt pattern (1959 to 1986), including 283, 305, 307 and 383 stroker builds. Will not fit the earliest 1955 to 1959 staggered perimeter bolt heads or 1987-on centre bolt heads. Suits classic Chevrolets, Camaros, Novas, El Caminos, hot rods and SBC swaps where the build calls for a clean polished cover without decorative machining or fins.

• What Smooth Design Means: The top surface is left as one clean, uninterrupted polished panel, with no fins, ball milling or decorative texturing. This minimalist look suits builders going for an OEM-plus aesthetic, sleeper builds where the engine bay is meant to look factory-stock-but-better, and modern resto-mods where the goal is restraint rather than visual statement. The smooth surface also makes it easier to add custom badges, decals or builder logos if desired.

• Why Tall Covers Matter on SBC: Tall valve covers add internal clearance over standard-height covers, which is essential for builds running a high-lift camshaft, roller rockers, shaft mount rockers or a stud girdle. Most aftermarket valvetrain upgrades will not clear stock-height covers, so tall is the safe default for any SBC build with performance components in the heads. Always confirm rocker clearance before final fitment.
