  • Suits GM LS2, LS3, LS7 & LSX
  • Polished finned aluminium
  • GM LS2, LS3, LS7 & LSX
  • 11 bolt pattern (not 10 as per LS1 & LS6)
  • Engine Application: Designed for the 11-bolt Gen.4 LS valley pattern, suiting GM LS2, LS3, LS7 and LSX engines. Note that LS1 and LS6 use a different 10-bolt pattern with a rear-mounted oil pressure sensor, so this cover will not fit those earlier Gen.3 engines. Always confirm the engine generation before ordering.

  • Why Fit a Decorative Valley Cover: When the factory plastic intake manifold is removed for a carburettor conversion or single-plane intake swap, the factory valley plate sitting over the lifter trays looks plain and unfinished. A polished finned valley cover fits over the top of the factory valley plate, giving the engine a clean, finished appearance from above.

  • Polished Finned Look: The finned design echoes traditional small block Chevy and Buick valley covers from the muscle car era, helping a modern LS engine sit visually comfortable in older vehicles. The polished finish brightens the centre of the engine bay and pairs well with polished valve covers, polished intake manifolds and polished accessory brackets for a consistent show-quality look.

  • 11-Bolt Mounting Pattern: Bolts directly to the factory valley using the existing threaded holes, with no drilling, tapping or fabrication required. The 11-bolt layout is specific to Gen.4 LS engines (LS2, LS3, LS7 and LSX), which is why this cover does not interchange with earlier LS1 or LS6 engines that use a 10-bolt pattern and rear-mounted sensor.

  • Hardware Note: The kit includes 10 bolts. The rear centre bolt from the factory valley setup needs to be reused, so do not discard it during disassembly. This is a common detail buyers miss, and it is worth setting that bolt aside in a labelled bag during the intake swap.

  • Practical Buyer Tip:A decorative valley cover only makes sense on builds where the valley will actually be visible, such as carby conversions or single-plane intake setups. If the engine retains the factory plastic intake, the cover will be hidden and the spend is better directed elsewhere. Wipe the polished surface down with a soft cloth and metal polish every few months to keep the shine, as oil mist and dust will dull it over time. Pair it with a matching set of polished or polished finned valve covers for the most cohesive look.

Note: this valley cover only suits the above mentioned engines; LS1 & LS6 have a 10 bolt mounting pattern as well as a rear mounted oil pressure sensor.

Note: this kit includes 10 bolts only; you will need to reuse your existing rear centre bolt.
