  • Precision manufactured in steel and then triple chrome plated
  • Suit Ford 302 351 Cleveland engines
  • Unique tall flat angle top with no logo
  • Use with push-in breather cap and grommets
  • Sold as a pair
  • Engine Application: Built for the Ford Cleveland 302C and 351C engine family. Suits Australian Falcon XW, XY, XA, XB, XC, XD, XE and Fairlane / LTD Cleveland-powered cars, US Torino 351C builds, and Cleveland engine swaps into hot rods, F-trucks and customs where a bright chrome dress-up package is the goal alongside the tall profile needed for performance valvetrain clearance.

  • Cleveland vs Windsor is Critical: Ford 302 and 351 engines come in two completely different families with different cylinder heads and different valve covers. Cleveland (302C / 351C) and Windsor (302W / 351W) covers are not interchangeable. Cleveland heads use a wider cover footprint with bolts further out, while Windsor covers are narrower with bolts closer in. Confirm you have Cleveland heads before ordering. The 302 Windsor and 302 Cleveland are the most common mix-up.

  • Tall vs Standard Profile: Unlike the standard chrome Cleveland covers in the AAA range, these are the tall variant designed to clear a high-lift camshaft, roller rockers, shaft mount rockers and stud girdles commonly used in performance Cleveland builds. Standard height pressed steel covers often foul on aftermarket roller valvetrain, which is where this tall profile earns its place.

  • Unique Flat Angle Top Design: Where most pressed steel rocker covers have a rounded or domed top, these feature a distinctive flat angle top profile. The flat top sits a different visual line in the engine bay and stands out against the curved factory-style covers that surround it. Suits builds where a custom look is wanted while still keeping the affordable pressed steel construction.

  • No Logo Aesthetic: The clean smooth top with no badge or logo suits sleeper builds, restoration projects and engine bays where the focus is on the rest of the build rather than the cover. Also a strong pick for 302C builds where a "351" badge would be inaccurate, or for owners who simply prefer a cleaner, less branded look.

  • Steel vs Cast Aluminium Construction: Pressed steel with chrome plating is lighter on the wallet than cast aluminium and gives a smoother, brighter look. The steel pressing also has a slimmer profile in the bolt flange area than thick cast aluminium, which can help in tighter Australian Falcon engine bays where intake clearance is tight. The trade-off is that steel does not dampen valvetrain noise quite as well as cast aluminium and is more prone to denting if struck during install or removal.

  • Triple Chrome Plated Construction, Pair Listing: Pressed steel base with triple chrome plating gives a deep, reflective finish and improves long-term durability against oxidation. Sold as a pair, which is what the Cleveland V8 takes. Push-in breather caps, grommets and Cleveland-specific valve cover gaskets are sourced separately.

  • Practical Buyer Tip: Chrome benefits from a gentle wipe-down with a soft microfibre cloth and a quality chrome polish to keep it bright, particularly in coastal or humid conditions where pitting can start to develop. Avoid harsh degreasers and abrasive polishes that can dull or scratch the plating over time. Worth ordering fresh Cleveland-specific gaskets at the same time, as Windsor gaskets do not fit the wider Cleveland cover footprint and old gaskets rarely seal once disturbed.
