  • Side Plates vs Valve Covers: These are side plate covers, not top valve covers. The Holden 6 cylinder engine uses removable side plates on the block face for valve gear access, and these chromed finned plates replace the plain factory side covers as an engine bay dress-up upgrade. The top rocker cover is a separate item on this engine family.
