  • Suits Ford Cleveland 302 351
  • Black EDP cast aluminium
  • Laser eteched Cleveland logo
  • Screw-in baffles
  • 105mm tall (overall)
  • With breather holes
  • The tall design accommodates most valvetrain setups and can run both baffled or non-baffled thanks to the removeable plates.
  • Includes bolts and baffle plates
  • Engine Application: Built for the Ford Cleveland 302C and 351C engine family. Suits Australian-built Falcon XW, XY, XA, XB, XC, XD, XE and Fairlane / LTD Cleveland-powered cars, US Torino 351C builds, and Cleveland engine swaps into hot rods, F-trucks and customs. The plain "CLEVELAND" logo works equally well on 302C and 351C builds, unlike the 351-specific logo variant.

  • Cleveland vs Windsor is Critical: Ford 302 and 351 engines come in two completely different families with different cylinder heads and different valve covers. Cleveland (302C / 351C) and Windsor (302W / 351W) covers are not interchangeable. The easiest way to tell: Cleveland heads have the valve covers shaped wider with the bolts further out and a more rectangular footprint, while Windsor covers are narrower with bolts closer in. Confirm you have Cleveland heads before ordering.

  • Plain "Cleveland" Logo (Not 351 Specific): The laser-etched logo simply reads "CLEVELAND" without a displacement number, which makes this cover the better choice for 302C builds where a "351 CLEVELAND" badge would be inaccurate. Also a clean look for 351C builds where the engine family is the focus rather than the displacement. The logo is laser-etched into the cast aluminium, not painted or stuck on, so there is nothing to fade or peel.

  • 105mm Tall Profile: At 105mm overall, the tall design clears a high-lift camshaft, roller rockers, shaft mount rockers and stud girdles that are common in performance Cleveland builds. Standard height covers often foul on aftermarket roller valvetrain, which is where this profile earns its place.

  • Black EDP Finish: EDP (electrophoretic deposition) is an industry-standard coating process where paint is electrostatically applied to the metal in a dipping bath, producing an even, fully covered finish across every surface including down inside the bolt holes. The result is a corrosion-resistant black finish that is more consistent than spray paint and harder wearing than basic powder coat in tight or recessed areas.

  • Removable Baffle Plates: The screw-in baffle plates can be removed if you are running an external breather setup or a dry sump system that does not need internal baffling. For a standard street build, leave the baffles fitted to control oil splash off the rocker arms and stop oil being pulled out through the breather. The flexibility is uncommon at this price point.

  • Included Hardware and What You Need Separately: Comes with the retaining bolts and baffle plates. Cleveland-specific valve cover gaskets, push-in breathers, grommets and PCV valves are sourced separately, so plan to add these to the order. A fresh set of Cleveland gaskets is essential, as Windsor gaskets do not fit the wider Cleveland cover footprint.

  • Practical Buyer Tip: If you are deciding between the plain "CLEVELAND" logo and the "351 CLEVELAND" logo variant, choose this plain version for 302C builds or where you want a cleaner, less displacement-specific look. The 351 logo variant only suits 351C builds aesthetically. EDP-finished aluminium benefits from gentle cleaning with a soft microfibre cloth and mild engine bay cleaner, avoiding harsh degreasers or abrasive pads that can scratch through the coating.
