  • Engine Application: Designed for the 11-bolt Gen.4 LS valley pattern, fitting GM LS2, LS3, LS7 and LSX engines. Will not fit LS1 or LS6, which use a different 10-bolt pattern with a rear-mounted oil pressure sensor. Always confirm the engine generation before ordering, as the bolt patterns are not interchangeable.

  • Built-In Oil Filler Provision: The standout feature of this valley cover is the integrated oil filler hole, which accepts the supplied oil filler cap. This matters on builds where the factory fill point in the valve cover has been removed or replaced with aftermarket valve covers without a filler. Adding the fill point to the valley keeps oil top-ups simple without needing to remove a valve cover or fabricate a custom fill location.

  • Optional Filler Neck: The included filler neck is a separate component that screws into the cover to raise the fill point above the surface. Useful if the intake manifold sits close to the valley and a flush cap would be hard to access. The cap also screws directly into the cover without the neck if a low-profile look is preferred, giving flexibility based on the build.

  • When This Style Makes Sense: Decorative valley covers are most useful when the factory plastic intake is removed for a carby conversion or single-plane intake swap, leaving the factory valley plate visible across the centre of the engine. The polished finned design sits over the top of the factory valley plate, presenting the centre of the engine bay as a clean, finished surface. With the filler provision built in, this version is particularly suited to retro-style carby LS swaps where the owner wants a single tidy fill point.

  • 11-Bolt Mounting Pattern, No Bolts Supplied: Bolts onto the factory Gen.4 valley using the existing threaded holes. Note that bolts are not included with this version, so you will need to source 11 valley bolts of the correct length, or reuse the factory bolts if they are in good condition. Worth checking thread depth before tightening, as bolts that bottom out can damage the valley casting.

  • Practical Buyer Tip: Pair this cover with polished or polished finned valve covers and a polished intake manifold for the most cohesive show-quality look. Plan the oil fill setup early in the build, especially if running a tall single-plane intake, as access to the cap matters for daily use. Wipe the polished finish down with a soft cloth and metal polish every few months to keep the shine, as oil mist and engine bay dust will dull the surface over time.

Note: this valley cover only suits the above mentioned engines; LS1 & LS6 have a 10 bolt mounting pattern as well as a rear mounted oil pressure sensor.

Note: the included filler neck is not required for the cap to function; the cap will screw into the cover without the neck (as shown in the images). It is an included option for those who wish to use it.
