• Application: This 45 degree reducing elbow suits turbo intercooler systems where the charge pipe needs to change direction and step down from a 4 inch to a 3 inch diameter in a single connection. Common on large turbo builds where the compressor outlet is 101mm but the intercooler inlet is a standard 76mm.

• Size Context: The 101mm to 76mm reduction is a larger step down than the 101 to 89mm variant. This makes it useful on builds where a big frame turbocharger feeds into standard 3 inch intercooler piping, avoiding the need for a separate reducer fitting and an additional join point in the system.

• Temperature and Pressure Rating: Rated from -48 degrees C to 260 degrees C with a working pressure of 275 PSI. Built to handle sustained boost pressure and heat from high-output turbo applications without cracking or deforming.

• Construction Note: 5mm wall thickness with multi-ply silicone reinforcement. Black exterior with no logo for a clean engine bay finish. Blue interior liner is standard Takashi construction across the range.

• Fitment Note: The inlet end connects to pipes with an outside diameter of approximately 101mm and the outlet end connects to pipes with an outside diameter of approximately 76mm. Measure both connection points on your existing piping before ordering. A 25mm step down is significant and fitment must be confirmed before purchase.

• What to Pair With It: Use with a 101mm T-bolt clamp on the inlet end and a 76mm T-bolt clamp on the outlet end. Do not use worm-drive clamps on reducing elbows under boost pressure as they do not provide consistent clamping force around the full circumference.
