• Application: This 45 degree reducing elbow suits intercooler piping and turbo intake systems where the pipe changes both direction and diameter within a short run. The 101mm to 89mm reduction is commonly needed when connecting a large turbocharger outlet to a slightly smaller intercooler inlet, or when routing charge piping around engine bay obstacles on modified V8 and six-cylinder builds.

• Size Context: At 101mm (4 inch) on the inlet end reducing to 89mm (3.5 inch) on the outlet end, this is a large format reducing elbow. It is suited to high-output turbo builds running large frame turbos where airflow volume is high and pipe sizing steps down between components.

• Temperature and Pressure Rating: Rated from -48 degrees C to 260 degrees C with a working pressure of 275 PSI. Handles the heat and boost pressure demands of performance turbo intercooler systems without cracking or collapsing.

• Fitment Note: The inlet end connects to pipes with an outside diameter of approximately 101mm and the outlet end connects to pipes with an outside diameter of approximately 89mm. Measure both connection points on your existing piping before ordering to confirm fit.

• What to Pair With It: Use with a 101mm T-bolt clamp on the inlet end and an 89mm T-bolt clamp on the outlet end. T-bolt clamps are recommended for reducing elbows as they provide even clamping force on both ends under boost pressure.
