• Size Context: The 76mm to 51mm reduction is a large 25mm step down across a 90 degree turn. This is a significant size change and is used on specific builds where the pipe diameter drops considerably at a direction change point. It eliminates the need for both a separate 90 degree elbow and a separate large-step reducer, reducing the total number of fittings and join points in the system.
