• Application: This 90 degree reducing elbow suits intercooler and turbo charge pipe systems where the pipe needs to make a sharp 90 degree turn and step down from 89mm to 76mm in a single fitting. Common on performance six-cylinder and V8 builds where a 3.5 inch intercooler outlet or turbo pipe transitions into a 3 inch downstream pipe run at a direction change point.

• Size Context: The 89mm to 76mm reduction is a 13mm step down across a 90 degree turn. This is one of the more practical reducing elbow combinations for Australian performance builds because both 3 inch and 3.5 inch pipe sizes are commonly used in aftermarket intercooler and turbo pipe kits. Where these two sizes meet at a direction change point, this single elbow replaces both a separate 90 degree bend and a separate reducer.

• Temperature and Pressure Rating: Rated from -48 degrees C to 260 degrees C with a working pressure of 275 PSI. Built to handle the sustained heat and boost pressure of performance turbo and intercooler systems without cracking, deforming or collapsing under load.

• Fitment Note: The inlet end connects to pipes with an outside diameter of approximately 89mm and the outlet end connects to pipes with an outside diameter of approximately 76mm. Measure both connection points on your actual piping before ordering. Do not assume sizing based on kit descriptions alone as actual pipe OD can vary between intercooler brands and fabricators.

• What to Pair With It: Use with an 89mm T-bolt clamp on the inlet end and a 76mm T-bolt clamp on the outlet end. T-bolt clamps are recommended over worm-drive clamps for all boost pressure connections to ensure consistent clamping force at both ends.
