  • Application: The 70mm (2.75 inch) internal diameter suits larger turbocharger compressor outlets, intercooler piping on bigger four-cylinder and six-cylinder turbo builds, and high-flow cold air intake systems where the 63mm size would be a restriction.

  • Size Context: At 70mm I.D., this hose bridges the gap between the mid-range 63mm and the larger 76mm size. It is well suited to performance-oriented turbo builds that have been upgraded beyond factory specifications but do not yet require full 3 inch piping.

  • Fitment Note: This hose connects to pipes with an outside diameter of approximately 70mm. Always measure your existing pipe OD before ordering. Do not rely solely on the size of your old hose as silicone wall thickness can affect the fit.

  • Length and Cut Flexibility: At 1 metre long, this hose can be cut to suit your specific pipe run. Useful when routing through a modified engine bay or replacing a section of custom intake or charge piping.

  • What to Pair With It: Use with a 70mm (2.75 inch) T-bolt clamp at each end for a secure fit. If using worm-drive clamps, select a clamp rated for 70mm to 80mm diameter to ensure adequate clamping force.

  • Practical Buyer Tip: The 70mm size is sometimes overlooked in favour of the more common 63mm or 76mm. If your turbo or intercooler pipe measures 70mm OD and you force a 63mm or 76mm hose onto it, you risk either a poor seal or a hose that will not seat correctly. Measure first.
