  • Application: The 51mm (2 inch) blue straight silicone hose suits turbo intake connections, intercooler inlet and outlet piping, and blow-off valve outlets on smaller four-cylinder turbocharged engines.

  • Size Context: At 51mm I.D., this is one of the most common factory replacement sizes for Japanese and European turbocharged vehicles. If your existing rubber intake or intercooler hose measures 2 inch internal diameter, this is the correct replacement size.

  • Temperature and Pressure Rating: Rated to handle temperatures from -48 degrees C to 260 degrees C and working pressures up to 275 PSI. This makes it suitable for both forced induction and high-heat underbonnet environments where standard rubber hoses deteriorate.

  • Construction Note: 5mm wall thickness with full multi-ply reinforcement. The blue exterior features the Takashi logo. The interior liner is also blue, which is standard for the Takashi blue range and not a defect.

  • Fitment Note: Connects to pipes with an outside diameter of approximately 51mm. Measure your existing pipe OD before ordering as factory rubber hose wall thickness can make the internal bore appear different to the actual pipe size.

  • What to Pair With It: Use with a 51mm (2 inch) T-bolt clamp at each end. T-bolt clamps are preferred over worm-drive clamps for intercooler and turbo connections as they distribute clamping force more evenly.

  • Practical Buyer Tip: The blue finish suits engine bays where the hose is visible and a performance look is preferred. If you want a cleaner, logo-free finish, the black variant of this hose is also available in the same 51mm size.
